Lesson 1

Folded threads in tube anemones

Tube anemones are ocean animals that look like a puff of long, wavy tentacles. They live in sand or mud on the sea floor, inside a tube they make.

Ptychocysts are only found in tube anemones. Each one is a tiny capsule with a long thread inside. Most thread cells roll their thread up in a coil. A ptychocyst keeps its thread folded back and forth, like a paper fan.

Try this

Scroll up to the 3D model and press Fire the thread, then Build the tube.
